most Americans don't know what GI bill is, but some have the nerve to tell the veterans that they have been paid too much. LOL A poster said military benefits are welfare. LOL
You obviously have never seen Hillary debate. She'll "choke" like she did before the pretend Benghazi committee. And Trump will end up looking as stupid and sweaty and confounded as Trey Gowdy. It will be great entertainment.
Yet the Drudge Report online survey will show that 126% of viewers declared Mr. Trump the winner. . . . as they did after every single GOP debate. Mr. Trump and his supporters get warm and fuzzy up their legs.
When you look at the written transcript of Mr. Trump's interviews, you see a definitely pattern. Guess what that is. This is from the CNN interview in the last day or two.
ADD? Don't know what the GI bill is? He is going to be our Dear Leader?
Mick
Hysterical. As usual, Mick knows nothing about the subject matter - in this case the GI Bill.
And he (Mick) believes that the son of Mario Cuomo will give Trump some sort of fair interview.
So, how 'bout it Mick-o? Can you give us details about these massive cuts, and will you provide us with the number of vets that are going to starve or lose their house, or perhaps not get a new prosthesis because of this "secret vote"?
Well, no, you can't in fact. The phrase "is going to cut money from the GI bill to allow for other expenditures for vets" just seems to have made you break out in hives. Evidently, you did not get past the "cut" and never made it to the "to allow for other expenditures".
well, regarding Post 9/11 GI Bil, There is talk that the eligibility criteria will be adjusted.
Did you know that when the military cuts its numbers using decreased promotion rates (the up or out system), service members are at risk to lose the benefits they transferred to their dependents? It's true: through no fault of their own, the service member cannot complete their service commitment yet the service that forces them out gave them no opportunity to do so.
Politicians are focusing on cutting costs for paying troops and not cutting costs of war. When we value war over people, we all lose.
How come my friend is still waiting for an appointment after one month for a specialist to check on his skin cancer? If you have your GI bill, use it, use it now. If you have benefits, use it, use it now. Who knows what is going to happen in the future?
Hope Trump keeps his promise, that he will take care of the veterans, I don't care if he knows anything about GI bill, as long as he is an honorable man who keeps his words.
ps. Front-line troops should be paid more. the private serving at a combat outpost in Kandahar or Khost in Afghanistan has a much higher chance of getting killed or injured than a senior officer serving in a headquarters unit or in Bahrain. Let's be honest about it
I've never met a rich active duty enlisted Marine, I sure met a lot of pretty darn rich officers.

Yous guys is hysterical.
I would sincerely Love to Know..as it seems you are an avid supporter of Trump~~ Because I have absolutely NO recall of Trump EVER even trying to explain how he would accomplish anything that he has suggested?? Could you kindly offer just one example..because common complaint "Debt is at 19 Trillion and counting" surely cutting the debt is important, no?
Meanwhile, sequestration is cutting costs due to Congress...and only the ones in need seem to be the ones affected from the sequestration budget??? Why is that? Trickle Down affect was disproven so long ago..but "Sometimer's Disease persists when the one doing that actual cuts gets forgotten..and point fingers to other side???
Anyway, I rather doubt Trump has one clue just what the GI Bill entails, since he was never in the Military ( LOL..but went to military School???????) yet suggests he knows everything about it. Sure he may appreciate the Military ..but unlike Vietnam Era..ALL Americans APPRECIATE Military....
QUESTION: Please post just ONE example how Trump will accomplish anything he says he will fix?? Sorry just saying he will..just won't cut for most voters!
Seeing that he's lied about so much since running for POTUS, there's not telling if he'll be honorable in fulfilling his promises. I highly doubt it.
I have my doubts too. But this is another topic. Many politicians have failed veterans. Time for somebody new, I am not saying Trump is the solution, but I have no confidences in any other politicians.

The degree to which I know about the subject matter has no bearing to whether the GOP presumptive nominee knows anything about it, does it? An unfair interview? Look at the transcript. Or are you going to claim that was a gotcha question?
You can try to deflect all you want with nonsensical statements, but it doesn't change the words he uttered.
Go ahead, read Mr. Trump's "response" at loud and tell me it is in any way responsive to the questions asked (or that you can translate that into coherent words).
That is the point we all are making, not the substance of his answer.
1) Avoiding serious discussions where he has to lay out his plans and answer questions straight forward. He has a knack for dodging the original question and moving on to something else.
2) His "followers" don't really care about the issues. They do no want to be confused with facts, just that someone is going to "change things and make America great again."
Trump does have certain skills, but, IMO, he is not a really bright man. His depth of knowledge is not all that great, and he can not sit down and discuss any subject in any substantive manner. He just glosses over things and says "Don't worry about it, we will take care of it once I am in there !"
And the sheeple keep saying baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
The debates are going to be fun to watch.
