Trump will get millions more additional votes in a general if he tells us what his plans are to reform the corrupt system of campaign finance where the donor class buy politicians and get free stuff. This has been happening for 40 years now, and is the reason we're in the hole we're in. This is a HUGE and DECISIVE issue and we need to hear what his plans are! Does he support public funding of elections so anyone can run for office without having to beg the rich and the powerful for money?

What are his plans?!?

What does it tell you that in his own campaign, Donald Trump is refusing public financing so that he can get unlimited money from "rich and powerful" private donors?

We will need to know what his plans are to change the corrupt campaign finance system. Do you agree?

I have always believed actions speak louder than words.

It tells me that he is smart enough to know that limiting the amount of money he will need is not a good idea. Just the kind of thinking needed if he wants to win.

I equate campaign finance reform and congressional pay raises with the corruption that is the most difficult to do anything about. It's rare for politicians to vote against what they see as their entitlements.

So we dont know anything about what measures he will take, what he will fight for. How is this acceptable? Nothing is more important than getting big money out of politics and returning the power to the people. We need to know what his plans are. "wait and see" isnt acceptable.

He has no plans to change the system. His plan is to stop self-funding and participate in the current system of refusing public funding and raising as much as he can from private donors. His first large scale fundraiser is scheduled for May 25. They have indicated a possible goal of raising at least 1 billion dollars.

Hope no one was voting for him just because he was supposed self-funding. Oh and by the way, from a legal perspective, he has classified the "self-funding" to date as loans to the campaign, and will no doubt be repaying himself from the funds he will be raising going forward. So ultimately, no self-funding at all, not even for the primary.

Look at his actions. He is doing the typical politician big donor thing. That tells you everything you need to know. If he was against big money in politics, he would not be taking big money from rich and powerful private donors.

You're making headline breaking news with your statement. I'm not hearing that in the media. In fact it isn't even mentioned in the exit polls of voters as an issue they care most about. Is Hellary wanting to get big money out of politics ? Bernie is I think but if it requires a vote in congress it is going nowhere.
