They did it when Obama was running. Why should Trump be exempt from being vetted?

I predict the Washington Post's circulation will continue to head to the toilet.

Obama was vetted? The only people that vetted Obama were right wing talk show hosts and they were roundly mocked as racists and hate-mongers.

Lucky for them, they don't have to go all the way to Alaska this time. Who even knew they have 20 investigative reporters?

This is why they will come home, empty. Everything about Trump or Clinton has already been written. They just may be too young to know it.

I really don't remember anyone getting this scared of a candidate when Reagan was running

If Trump can't stand the heat, he should stay out of the White House.

Actually, he says so much nobody knows what he's thinking. He said that he wants taxes to rise on the rich but issues a plan that lowers taxes on the rich. Then, he said he said, yes, the plan lowers taxes but, it's negotiable -- presumably with himself. Then, he said, 'yes, it lowers taxes on the rich but when I said I want them to be raised, it was compared to my original plan, not the current taxes.'

On Iraq, he said that he was always against the invasion. But records of the Howard Stern show clearly have Trump supporting the invasion.

There are a half-dozen other issues Trump waffled or backtracked, so I guess he does say what others have been saying -- what both sides have been saying.

With all the double-talk and no record of positions, nobody knows what he believes in.
