Are there any republicans/conservatives who are ready to admit their fundamental ideas for the direction to move this country was wrong and liberal ideals have been right all along?

Or do you need more time?

Speaking as a liberal who does believe SOME conservative fundamental ideas are misguided (not necessarily wrong), I don't like this question. It implies that there are only two options. Just because ideology X is wrong, does not mean Y is the only other alternative, nor should be the only alternative. If no other one exists, perhaps make a Z.

since oranges exist, are you willing to admit that baseball is really a war between very small flying insects and overly large ocean based mammals?

Or do you need more time?

My question makes as much sense as yours.

A celebrity winning a popularity contest has nothing to do with whether a particular ideology is "right" or "wrong".

Much the same can be asked of liberals, now that it's apparent that the socialist loon from Vermont is no more than a delusional footnote.

Hillary once lost a nomination. Now look where she is now. Bernie may not be back next election but someone who thinks like him will.

Good luck with that. You're not going to see another Democrat in the whitehouse for another 16 years.

shank, your position makes no sense. the reality is that we have been moving to the left in this country since kennedy was assassinated. LBJ, nixon, ford, carter, bush41, clinton, bush43, and obama are all progressives. the only real conservative was reagan since 1960, and even he expanded the federal government.
