And the Republicans have to win the presidency in order to get at least some of their agenda accomplished.

Trump will owe them nothing, because they are spending money he never asked them to spend.

In fact, the same Super PACs spent their money trying to destroy Trump in the primaries.

Now they are supporting Trump because they have no choice.

Why not?

He paid into it.
Why would Trump need to owe 'Republican money boys' anything? Trump is proposing out of his own mouth the same policies that those bad-ole establishment "Republican money boys" want -- tax cuts on the rich paid for by cutting Social Security and Medicare.

The con is selling to "anti-establishment" voters a new soap box -- Trump. All Trump is, is a redesigned soapbox by with "New and Improved" added to the label. The box's contents haven't changed.

Unfortunately, Mr. Trump's soap is the same soap the Republican old guard has sold for decades -- tax cuts for the wealthy, reduced government regulation and cuts to social programs. He'd have us forget that we used this G.O.P. soap all through the Bush years and that soap doesn't clean.

Can anyone going to provide any proof that Trumps has ever said he would cut entitlement programs?

I'm sure he will flip flop on abortion as well. "Well when I said I would nominate Pro Life Judges, Rachel, that was just the start of a dialogue. Obviously it's the law of the land and I might have to shift more to the left in my choice."

So, an adviser said, not Trump.

What did this adviser say?

"We'll take a hard look at those to start seeing what we can do in a bipartisan way," Clovis said, adding Trump was not proposing any entitlement changes now.

So the adviser said there would be a bipartisan look at what could be done.

Yep, you guys sure got Trump this time.

Only one of those has ever happened. Bush expanded the other two by leaps and bounds. Outside of the military campaign, there was nothing G.O.P. about Bush.

All the entitlement programs?

Like what? Because I'm dying to know which programs you're lumping in with SS and Medicare, neither of which are entitlement programs.

Does anyone actually READ OP's link??? Hope Hicks, Trump's spokesperson said "Sam Clovis did not remotely suggest anything having to do with cuts,” she said. “I read his statements as though we need to examine budgetary discipline to protect programs like Social Security and Medicare, which is exactly what Mr. Trump intends to do"

Those are the only facts in this entire article.

The rest of the article is smarmy innuendo and opinion.
