Putting the snicker aside, has it gotten to the point where someone dying of a stroke would be deemed a positive outcome for the country? Reminder: Trump will turn 70 about four months before Hillary does, so he has as good a chance of being on the receiving end of a catastrophic health issue as she does. Let us not be naive ... all three of them are long in the tooth but I am not pulling for either their demise or incapacitation.

Sadly, that is what it comes down to for some voters ... she is bad, but he is worse.

The devil you know is better than the new devil on the scene. American politics at its best and worst.

LOL.

This was an endorsement for the primary against the socialist Bernie Sanders. Not against Trump for the general election

If that's all the endorsement that she can get from a dying newspaper, against a 75 year old hippy communist, then it only speaks for how flawed and weak that Hillary is.

Hillary is going to lose the general election by a landslide because working America has abandoned her. No reason to vote for a globalist and shill for Obamacare. The LA Times won't have any effect on this outcome.

Hillary ... undeniably flawed, ethically challenged, knowledgeable, experienced and with a steady hand.

Trump ... temperamentally unsuitable, intolerant, crass, uninformed on most topics and likely to exacerbate and create international crises.

For those drawn to or impressed by Trump, only three words need to be remembered ... surely you jest.
You missed the Hillary's biggest negative: she shows bad judgement repeatedly which is a fatal flaw when it comes to being president.

Because they do not know why they support her . Clueless

The headline must read " Hillary sucks but we have to endorse her, we have no credibility."

Hillary Clinton is not perfect, she has been scrutinized and attacked by people for decades but she is after all, the best person out of the remaining 3 candidates for President!

I agree with the LA Times. Hillary Clinton is the best candidate for President. The media has made Trump and Sanders viable candidates, in reality they both are jokes.

Just for the record, Trump will turn 70 four months before Hillary turns 69. He's a year and a half older than her, not half a year. I'm not sure if it's particularly relevant but figured I'd get the correct info out there.

OMG this endorsement has convinced me to vote for Billary even if indicted. The LATimes is such a worthy source of political advice!
