Don't really care if Trump doesn't pay taxes. I think it's pretty impressive if he (or his accountants) can do a masterful job of working the system. Would people rather see him being a dolt that pays way more than he legally could have? Do you want that same dolt negotiating deals that financially impact the US?

There's a BIG difference between paying long term capital tax (as you say, it is taxed at a lower rate) and dividend tax, than PAYING NO TAXES at all!!

Are you saying that Trump paid no taxes at all? If so, provide some proof.

I don't know why anyone is surprised. This is the true republican way -capitalism,cronies and big business rule --rest to the curb simpletons.

Not paying any federal income taxes would hurt Trump with voters, in my opinion. We pay them and he should, too. So far, the information on his federal income tax statements are not available to any of us.

I'd love to a thrice bankrupt billionaire. Wouldn't that show that I can lose it all and keep coming back? Impressive.
