If the Democrats and Hillary want to win the Election after D.C. they need to reach out to Sanders work with him and figure out solutions that would entice is voter base to vote for Hillary in the Fall. If Clinton doesn't instead pushes Sanders away and refutes his voter base Sanders should go to Houston in August.
Most Sanders supporters will go to Hillary and not Trump.
If Clinto Burns the Bern Sanders supporters will vote Third or not vote costing Hillary the Election
Now how could she burn the Sanders supporters if she wins the nomination via pledged delegates. Sanders is past the point where he could over take Clinton and win without getting like 90% of the vote....not gonna happen. Sanders support is from groups that think Clinton is too far to the Right, the danger of an Trump win would motivate them to support her.

If Clinton and her camp declare herself the winner on June 7th after Bernie Sanders wins Kentucky, Oregon, California, Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota
They're not going to Hillary.
Everything I have seen, heard, and read shows 9 of 10 Bernie supporters not going with Hillary if the Bern gets cut.
And again, doesn't mean they're voting for Trump either, just NOT Hillary.

Im not sure if you dont understand the system or if you are being obtuse(leaning towards the latter), but lets try to talk this out.
No one is "crowned". The person who wins the nomination never officially gets it until the convention when delegates vote.
And winning some of the last primaries does not give you a right to win the primary. By your logic, if Hillary had won the previous 44 contest, and then he won the last 5, he would be entitles to the nomination.
They find a way to force Hillary to drop out citing a health crisis. Or they stick with her( the establishment does not like Trump or Bernie) and find some other way to neutralize Trump, probably by running a third party candidate. Bernie could counter that by also running as an independent. That scenario has Hillary winning 25% of the vote, maybe the winner would only get 35 to 40%. No mandate for anyone, neither Bernie or Trump.
Hillary is not liked by anybody so she's not going to have even the poor to marginal success Obama had trying to sell the establishment's agenda. She's not competent and a poor leader so her administration will be a mess from the get go. She's stubborn and arrogant so she won't be as spineless and easily controlled as Obama. I don't see her following the script handed to her like Obama has done. She'll mouth off and get into confrontations and anger people.
We've been moving into an era of dysfunctional and out of touch government so states and communities will begin to have more authority to determine their own political agendas.

She would have still won more pledged delegates and have more votes than he has. This isnt hard to understand.

I understand that, but I can still see the Dems turning Bernie's big win into their victory. They start saying Hillary is the Queen, our next President, the Nominee, so forth.

If she wins the majority of pledged delegates she will properly be called the nominee and Democrats will occasionally in the heat of partisan rhetoric refer to her as our next President. If that's what's worrying you so much then you're likely in for a lot of sleepless nights.
I follow all the pro-Hillary social media feeds and not once has any supporter ever referred to her as "the Queen" or anything remotely like that. That's just silly Berniebot talk.
