My guess is that this was done on purpose anyway. It makes Clinton more likely to have to concede a lot of things to get Bernies support.

Could be-we will have to see.

Movements aren't usually led by the older folk though.

If it takes overturning a few carts, so be it. There will be no ships full of tea there.

There's Theory and then there's Reality.
Yes, and the reality is that Bernie Sanders has been collecting a generous government check for decades, during which he & his wife enjoyed a household income often exceeding $300,000. Now that he's 74 and both he and his wife collect the maximum Social Security benefit, have pension plans and retirement accounts (and get Medicare) he can propose a lot of tax plans and other programs in which he will never participate.

Back to the anticipated violent protests, I was a student in 1970 when the Kent State shootings occurred, where unarmed college students in Ohio were killed by the National Guard. The same month, at a predominantly Black college in Mississippi, police fired 400 shots into a student dorm, killing 2 students and injuring several others, but the media was silent on those murders. (Gee, I wonder why?) Anyway, dead students and an outraged, horrified nation apparently didn't stop the war for another 5 years, although the 26th Amendment was finally passed.

However, I do believe in protesting and peaceful protest is usually the best and most effective way to be heard and bring about positive change.

I noted from the beginning that much of it was. We had seen it before.

Haha, I mean go to your home and smash everything you own. Into pieces.
Or burn it.
