Bernie wants to take more of your money as people struggle to save for their own retirement. But Bernie will be just fine. Here's a look at Bernie's retirement income if retires 2 years at the end of his current senate term. bernie-sanders-millionaire-finances/

Sanders will collect an annual pension of $71,340. Calculated using the Congressional pension formula.

For another 74-year-old man to buy a guaranteed income stream (or annuity) that would pay out the same starting at age 76, it would cost “about $1 million.

Factor in his mayoral pension, any Thrift Savings Plan assets, and Jane Sanders’ retirement funds, the household’s effective retirement nest egg could be closer to a $2 million valuation.

In other words, me or you would have to save and invest $2 million to get the same income Bernie will get when he retires but as if it's not hard enough and for some impossible, Bernie wants to make it even harder, he wants more of your money.

Dont worry about that. Sanders could have decided to retire many years ago, but he will instead work tirelessly to fight for the dignity of working class Americans, seniors, disabled and the middle class who are getting crushed by this:

You wan't have anything in your senior years if Bernie has his way. Of course when you are elderly you'll have to beg the government for them to throw a bone your way.

Of course this is above Sanders supporters heads obviously. Hey, it's your life and you'll continue to pay for your poor decisions.

Unlike yourself that refuses to pay for the wars and is willing to leave the debt to our kids. Yes, we need to pay up and not expect others to do it for us at some unspecified time in the future.

Dont be ridiculous. Seniors dont have to eat cat food in social democratic countries like Germany and Scandinavian countries, unlike in America where seniors are treated like crap in order to line the pockets of the richest people in the country who donate to the campaigns.

Many of them could eat better if their savings weren't drawing .001% to keep Wall Street inflated.

My concern isn't so much who takes my money as how they spend it when they get it.

If someone has a complaint about a government retirement plan, that needs to be addressed by talking with your elected officials and demanding change. You can't blame someone for taking a benefit that was part of their benefit package.

Bernie is the better Democratic candidate and more people would realize this IF they would simply do their homework. Although I support Trump, Bernie is my 2nd choice after having went through ALL the info on the different candidates in the beginning.

We have to remember that some people are just not smart enough to understand what Bernie is saying and you can only "dumb" down things to a certain point.

Oh but remember, social democratic countries like Germany and those in Scandinavia don't exist. If you don't *love* the corporate welfare/global empire pseudo-'capitalist' model of the US, you can ONLY use countries like North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela as comparisons. Successful countries that give back more to its citizens than the US simply cannot exist!

Right wingers are apparently now so concerned with how much money other people are making.

Isn't that the 'jealousy' you all so often point out when people speak about financial collusion and corruption?
