You're right, those vets behind Trump would DEFINITELY disagree, but they don't represent all vets. There are plenty of them out there, especially Viet vets, who won't forgive him for his comments on POW's any more than they'll forgive Hanoi Jane. Most vets I know don't like either of the leading candidates, they don't know which way to go.
They lied about his donations to veterans and about his speech the other day. They are sleazy.
He needs to keep calling them out and hopefully they will lose their jobs and a whole crop of journalists with integrity take their place.
