Losing the tournament costs the area tourists/hotel reservations/restaurant visits/airline use......so by my calculations he's in the hole in the number of jobs created. Hasn't even taken office.

Losing the tournament is going to hit Doral in the wallet for many years. It likely will decrease the value of the property. Having that tournament was major bragging rights and made it stand out over other courses. Prices that people pay to play/stay at Doral could be impacted negatively over time without this major tournament.
The Doral website's first page mentions the PGA tournament. It's one of their main marketing points. If it wasn't so important it wouldn't be on the main page of their web site. It's major bragging points and there was a dollar figure (in marketing) that was attached to those bragging rights. That's gone now. This is a major $$$ loss for Doral's brand image.
“I just heard that the PGA Tour is taking their tournament out of Miami and moving it to Mexico,” Trump said Tuesday night during an appearance on “The Sean Hannity Show” on Fox News. “I hope they have kidnapping insurance.”
That ain't funny since kidnapping's a BIG problem in Mexico.
If anything this only tells us that corporate sponsors
are questioning the business acumen of paying millions of dollars
to have their name associated with professional golf.
Maybe that isn't selling so many cars after all.
I live here in Bullhead City and; I don't see many Cadillacs less than about 10 years old here. But I see lots of high dollar Dodge trucks.
I love it! He's losing all his jobs and endorsements he had including his TV show. Once he loses in Nov, he will have nothing to go back to. Karma for a pathetic fraud who has swindled thousands out of millions of dollars and screwed over thousands more by outsourcing to foreign countries and hiring immigrants for slave wages rather than hiring Americans. He can become a political commentator on Fox. Maybe he can replace Megyn Kelly.
PGA is moving because Cadillac decided not to sponsor them anymore. Nothing to do with Trump.
