Funny! The only time I've heard of anyone complaining about that is when KKK members were on trial for murder and the jury of his peers was exactly that..other KKK members.
A good tactic. When someone cannot answer a question, ask a question of their own in response.
Some people are paid to go on social media and do this kind of thing. I think on this thread we have just had a shift change in personnel. If you will look through the thread, you will see where it happened. Some of these people need to change their poster names. They never say anything. They are here to attack people who do say something. They appear during the political season and disappear when it is over. Sorry, I worked with the public 28 years and I am too observant sometimes.

But even if as you suggest "ought to" are the key words. The key follow up words " should aspire to " supports that it has not been arrived at and the goal is still ahead. It has not been transcended = but it is the end goal. Then in the next sentence begins with "However".

And in the quote from politifact was their opinion you offered to support your opinion. You didn't disqualify their opinion but offer it in support of yours. That's the real problem with circular logic. It leaves the dog chasing his tail endlessly as the defense.
