At least we avoided the onslaught of some sort of half assed socialism experiment? Any other positives to this now that we are stuck with a criminal and an idiot for our two major party candidates? Seriously how did it get to the point where we have to such unappealing candidates?

40 years of neo-liberal policies, sharp increase in inequality and transfer of wealth and power to the top from the middle class and subsequent reduction in democracy, just like prescribed when these policies were implemented 40 years ago. It leads to a bitter, angry and confused electorate, the answer is the same as always, social democratic FDR policies that bring back democracy and a sense of trust in basic public institutions, like we had in the past and which only Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein advocate in this election.

Default Seriously how did it get to the point where we have to (sic) such unappealing candidates?

Uh, because we've had Puppet Presidents/Candidates probably since Carter. There is nothing new/different about it.

Funny, you despise the only major candidate in 2016 that was not a Puppet.

Does it matter? Nearly everyone under 50 is on the same page as him-in wanting Americans to have accurate representation in our Government again. Dismiss him if you wish, but the larger movement to gain back control of our Government from nationless banks/corporations seeking global economic hegemony and the diminishing of our national sovereignty is real and quite alive.

Some people actually care about our country, and Americans and that will never change...

Trump imploding means he has no chance in hell I bet at the RNC they pull him and go with someone else get ready for 8 years of Clinton. Clinton will move us like 15% to 20% backwards and send like 20k more soldiers back to the middle east I would rather 8 more years of Obama.

Push for social democratic change through all means possible. He has created a mass movement of millions of people, and succeeded beyond the wildest imaginations when he started. He has more donors than anyone in US political history (which is ASTONISHING!) and when such a movement is sustained over the long run, real change takes place to the benefit of the working class and dismay of the donor class who has trampled over ordinary people for far too long.

He hasn't got one. He needs to put his big ego to rest and support Hillary.

Definitely no silver lining for you. Because us social democrates will be taking over the Democratic Party in the next two presidential election cycles. And since the republican are in complete disary......well.....what you deem as socialism is coming your way.

So Enjoy.

You're right, because I don't want a borderline socialist, I must not care about our country.
