Which was the OP's point, making the claim the election was somehow stolen from Bernie. Voters not taking the time to vote or to figure out how to vote isn't the same as an election being stolen.
I agree with you, and to the point, it's a fact that Bernie's voters tend to be young and inexperienced, while Repub voters tend to be older and have been around the voting booth a few times already.

It's a strange system to me but at least Dems allowed the NPPs vote for their primary candidates, unlike the Republicans.
Nothing was "stolen". You do know that many NPP's supported Hillary? She wouldn't have won the election by the margin she did without them.
I find it more interesting how people are defending these systems. Whether you wanted Sanders to win or not, he's done an awesome job highlighting how stupid and complex a lot of these rules are, they simply obstruct what should be a straightforward process.

This is how voting should work.

You want to vote for a particular candidate, so you go to the polling station, and put the X by their name, and then it gets counted, and whoever wins the most votes, wins.

I'd also argue voting day should be recognized holiday, and the schedule should be condensed.

I agree.
However saying the election was "stolen" is factually incorrect.

Bernie had no problems with the complex and difficult to participate in caucus system. His complaints were limited to elections he lost regardless of how complex and problematic the ones he won were.

If he actually uncovered the stuff he claims, he must have had no evidence, as both the elections of 2000 and 2004 would have been contested. Not buying his credibility.

Notably, he has claimed to have uncovered evidence that Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, and Florida Elections Unit Chief Clay Roberts, along with the ChoicePoint corporation, rigged the ballots during the US Presidential Election of 2000 and again in 2004 when, he argued, the problems and machinations from 2000 continued, and that challenger John Kerry actually would have won if not for disproportional "spoilage" of Democratic votes.[5]

Maybe I'm not getting caught up in the small details here like some other people.

We need severe voting reform to simplify and create a nationalized standard and need it before the next election.

We do but it's not going to happen on a national level.
Work within your state, even better get involved with a political party and make your voice heard.

We used to have a horrible 2-step Dem party primary process here in TX - a primary vote followed by a caucus when the polls closed. Caucus only counted but hardly any voters seemed to know that. That was the reason Obama won most of the TX delegates even though Clinton won the popular vote. (I voted for Obama so was happy with the result but not the process.)

We county Dems worked together at the county level and got that overturned before the 2012 general election. We now have a nice simple system here. Open primary and no caucus.

^^^^^ All voters should have equal opportunity and convenience to vote.

Bernie has educated us so much about the unfair and corrupt political systems. Without his effort, few people would be aware how the citizens are played by the powerful.

Perhaps this will be the year that people wake up. Let's hope.
