Oh my the criminals in the DNC will circle the wagons now. Have to protect Hillary at all cost. Send out the scapegoats. Protect the Queen or our criminal enterprise is lost.
So what's stopping the Russians from getting these files to Trump? I'm sure his campaign would love to see the DNC's dirt and have a response to every attack cooked up before it's made. Don't the Russians also have her emails? Seems like there's a chance Russia could decide the election if they see the need.

Wouldn't be surprised if it comes out later that they hacked the RNC, too. All to gain info on the next President, regardless of who wins in November.
Forget the Cold War, we're in a Cyber War (and have been for awhile).
