I think that when we have strong feelings of support for a candidate that it's always surprising to hear that person criticized harshly, or to realize that there are so many people who don't feel the same way you do. Although I don't agree with everything Obama has done, I have the highest regard for how he and Michelle have conducted themselves in office. IMO, they both seem to handle everything that comes their way with intelligence, grace, patience and when appropriate, a wonderful sense of humor. I cannot believe some of the things people say about them and wonder if we're seeing the same people in the White House.
I may be naive, but I've never believed what some people say about there being paid posters on C-D. But some people are so dogged in their determination to argue that Trump isn't losing support that I do wonder if they're being paid to post.
I don't think anybody have been paid here, people just have strong opinions. Perhaps they are talking to people they know in real life, their opinions haven't changed, so they can be a little bit out of touch with reality.
I don't know who is really leading the poll. Some far left media like youngturks has said in the past that Trump can still beat Hillary Clinton (but then again, they are die hard Bernie Sanders' fans) Accurate Forecasts, what A Severe Case Of An Oxymoron.
I personally believe Mr. Trump hasn't done anything productive in the past month. So who knows?
p.s. In term of obama and hillary's responses after Orlando Florida mass shooting, I think they talked like career politicians. Still refused to use the term "extreme islamic terrorists" I don't think they've handled the situation well. But that is just my opinion.
I don't think Mr. Trump's response is worse than Mr. O's response. But I do believe he made a fatal mistake by attacking that judge's heritage. He made several mistakes during the past months. Not good.
add: Very soon, voters, not just anti-Trump Republican voters, have to confront their general election dilemma: Are they ready to help elect Clinton? I for one, can not vote for Clinton, So it is either Johnson or Trump. I think I might have to vote for Trump.

I think what Clinton supporters have never understood about both Trump and Sanders was the "passion" behind the support. For good reason I would not expect someone to be passionate about swallowing the poison pill that Hillary is. Paid protesters, tiny little rallies, etc. speak of a lack of real passion, just rolling over on their backs and accepting that Hillary will be the nominee no matter what (unless we all get lucky) isn't that inspiring.
Obama is the only anti-American POTUS in my lifetime. He has been nothing but insulting toward our people while embracing foreign governments. He always had that fantasy about being the world leader, what a joke! He can't even lead our country except toward defeat. He has made fools out of us. What we have said is no worse than what he has said and implied about the citizens of our country.
Yes, you are obviously naive. Trump isn't losing support and if you'll look at the issues that are most important to Americans, you'll find he is scoring high despite the telephone polls of 1,000 or less people.
I don't have to be paid to think, I have been doing it for almost 62 years now and doing quite a good job too!

Passion or not, a vote is a vote. It seems like Hillary supporters just go vote, they don't care about rallies, lawn signs, bumper stickers and such. How does she get 3 million votes more than Bernie and 2.5 million more than Trump? I can't quite figure it but those are the facts.

I was a Bernie supporter so I totally understand his passionate following. Now I'm going to vote for Hillary without an ounce of compunction. She comes much closer to representing my positions on issues than most Republicans. Plus, I wouldn't vote for Trump if his name was the only one on the ballot because he disgusts me.
I'm not naive because I think Trump is losing support. I know that's true and you would too if you ever got out of your TrumpLove echo chamber. I might be naive if I think that no one is paid to post. About that I'm not sure.

Trump did not attack the judge's heritage. He attacked his affiliation with groups that are known supporters of illegal aliens.

I beg to differ. As a "french surrender monkey", our country, due to their great relationship with yours was the first to intervene in the afghanistan war.
Just not in Irak, deal with it.
Obama probably brought a great joy here. As not being stupid and a bigot, also being "able" to understand international policies, nothing to do about "we against them".
Trump would deffinitely be horrible.
Whatever you (general you) might think, ISIS is a COMMON ennemy.
It will probably take decades. But certainly not like this.
Muslim ban is not practical, but there is definitely radical Islamic terrorists problem in this country and the world.
Imagine if during WWII we allowed German and Japanese immigrants to come here by the thousands. Would that be considered to be insane? Yet we have been advocating bringing in hundreds of thousands of refugees here when they have promised to send as many fighters for ISIS with the refugees as possible. We have no way to vet the people coming here. They come from countries with no records to provide to us. Why can't we set up safe zones for the refugees somewhere near their countries? It's really stupid to allow millions of refugees to leave those countries and come to the West. If our country was under attack, would millions of military age men simply leave and be allowed to go to Europe? I think not.
