It's illegal to search someone without probable cause. We're not asking if looking a certain way, not acting, should justify searches. I say no. Being 'brown' is not probable cause. If they're acting suspicious in some way, take a look and if it's determined that more investigation is needed from there, do whatever you need to do (and legally can do, of course). But 'racial' profiling, on the basis of your skin and ethnicity? No. That's unconstitutional, and should remain so.
Agreed. Too; "brown" ain't a race, neither is "Hispanic" and neither is "Muslim".
No one has ever stopped thinking about Racial Profiling. They just got better and smarter at it so they don't get sued. Police do it, Employers do it, and Citizens do it. You probably do it yourself, and don't even realize it. It never went away, and in fact, its gotten worse. Now we all have to "Profile" anyone that looks like a Muslim, same as the Police do with Blacks.
tell that to the black families of the white murderer dylann roof.
maybe if we profiled white males that shooting wouldnt have happened.
Maybe some one should have profiled him for being white. The guy had to look as out of place as a guy in a Batman costume. Had they profiled him, they would have been correct. FACT
Tell that to the families of the 49 people killed in my city this past week. If Clinton had allowed the shooter's mosque to be investigated when it came on the radar of the FBI as supporting terrorist activities instead of squashing it due to "profiling," if the FBI had followed up and drilled down on the lead from the ammo dealer that something was not quite right with Mateen when he was buying all that ammo, those 49 people may still be alive.
It's easy to sit behind a computer and say "discrimination" or "racism," until 49 people are killed in your town.

You don't even understand what you are saying. If something had come up where Dylann Roof came up on someone's radar, yes, then he should have been investigated. Anytime anyone conducts some suspicious activity--like Mateen did before he killed 49 people--they should be investigated regardless of race. Why can't people get that.
