I wouldn't put it past Trumpy. He's totally unqualified to be president. Picking someone totally unqualified to be president should he die in office would be a Trumpy thing to do. And, since he's 70, overweight and out of shape, Trumpy keeling over into his taco bowl is a distinct possibility.

I think you're giving Trump too much credit, mnnita. Usually you're pretty much spot-on when it comes to Trump. But Trump has no honor. He doesn't do honorable things. This is a guy who will diss a POW to draw attention to himself.
