On Monday night, the Associated Press published a piece noting the release of an additional 165 pages of emails Hillary Clinton sent from her private email address while serving as secretary of state. These were emails that had never been previously released and only were made public because of a court order in response to a request from a conservative group.

And yet again, the emails poke holes in Clinton's initial explanation for why she decided to exclusively use a private email server for her electronic correspondence while serving as the nation's top diplomat.

Uh; am I reading this right?? It's like someone "hacked" the Wash Post and stuck in a "Fox News" story since the Post has the rep of being "lib" class.

Remember that Hillary signed documents under threat of perjury that she turned over all her emails.

Hillary, like her hubby is (if nothing else) guilty of perjury, and will end up getting disbarred.

Nothing will happen to Hillary. This whole e-mail 'scandal' will blow over. President 0bama, the FBI and the Republicans are protecting her. The Republicans do not want Trump anywhere near the White House. For this to happen they need Hillary to not get indicted. The Republicans come out once in a while and flex their muscles, sound tough and concerned, telling their supporters what they want to hear. It's just a show. Meanwhile the whole world believes that the incident was investigated thoroughly and nothing came of it. The GOP gives up the White House for 'under-the-table' deals when Hillary is elected president. Hillary not getting indicted shouldn't surprise anyone. The moment 0bama supported Hillary (during an active investigation) for president is when I knew the fix was on.

ha, sounds about right. See, it's always someone elses fault, definitely not hilly's.

This ain't looking pretty hil cheerleaders when info like this comes out from the liberal side of the media. I mean, the washington post with an article like this?

And it provides more fodder for the Republican argument that Clinton appointing herself as judge, jury and executioner for her emails was, at best, a very, very bad decision and, at worst, something more nefarious than just bad judgment.

But this email to Abedin — which came at the start of her four-year term in office — suggests a bit more active agency than Clinton has previously let on. "I think we need to get on this asap to be sure we know and design the system we want," doesn't strike me as Clinton simply wanting convenience and following the instructions of her IT people on how to make that happen. It reads to me as though Clinton is both far more aware of the email setup and far more engaged in how it should look than she generally lets on publicly.

But revelations like Monday's — a chunk of previously undisclosed emails that are clearly professional in nature — lend further doubt to the story Clinton had told about why she set up a private server and how she handled it after leaving office. For a candidate already struggling to convince voters she is honest and trustworthy enough to be president, stories like this one are deeply problematic.
oh, say it ain't so hilbots!

I think the Dem Party is behind this. Too much is hitting her, like machine gun fire! They have basically begged Bernie to drop out so they could move forward in getting Biden nominated. Bernie wouldn't budge (Go Bernie, make them remember fair elections). The Dems are between a rock and a hard place.

But, but where did she get that southern accent from when in the south pandering? I lived for 5 years in the south and didn't end up with an accent. Do you think her mother or father had that accent?

You have to remember that Hillary cannot tell the truth, it is in her DNA. Surely, she can plead that with her history, it is not possible for her to tell the truth, therefore, making her an innocent bystander to her own lies.

Someone like the Russians are going to have vast resources to find or even buy on the market zero day exploits. The developers will be unaware of it and it will remain unpatched, they would use such an exploit sparingly to help prevent it's discovery. This can be something that has nothing to do with the email service.

The government avoids these problems by physically separating the network they use for classified material from the outside world. It can only be compromised from the inside, e.g. Snowden.
You mean, e.g. Hillary Clinton. She removed classified information form the secure separate network, and put in on her her private server in the public network.
