The mess associated with trump's rallies is pretty darn costly to cities hosting his events. Maybe they need to "just say NO".
"Officials sent a bill to Trump’s campaign for $15,000 to cover police overtime, hoping to recoup the remaining property damage costs from people who were arrested. “It’s a venue where politicians typically come, and it’s literally never been an issue,” says city spokesman Tony Dodero."
"Law enforcement officials say the Trump campaign’s habit of overpromising rally seats, which creates long lines at its events, exacerbates costs. ... Trump’s event cost Eau Claire $33,819 for extra staff, police overtime, and traffic directors, Rokus says. Rallies the same day held by Clinton and Bernie Sanders required no extra resources, he says."
Did they send bills for damages to the Democratic Party since the paid protesters were on the Dem's payroll?
Also, these cities actually encourage people that will draw crowds to come into their cities where people spend money at restaurants, gas stations, hotels and other venues. They tend to be real money makers.
People/Events are usually invited for the purpose of "tourism" and promoting the town and their businesses.
All of this "stuff" that people complain about is general knowledge. I think where many anti-Trumps fall short is in their lack of knowledge in government, economics and business - yeah, just about everything!

They appear to not have had to, see the part in the article about Eau Claire. To be fair, the article did say he paid one of the cities.

That is a serious allegation. Surely you have a cite, a link, a page, a document, an article that confirms your story? Because otherwise, well, otherwise you are just spreading the smelly stuff.

It is a one-and-done quick rally, not a ten day excursion to the Holy Land, for crying aloud. None are staying at the Ritz, if they stay at all it is likely in their car or in a flophouse like the $45 a night Rodeway.
You say Trump supporters a re moneymakers but the demographics betray you. In aggregate, Heddah Cheddah supporters are much older, far less educated and earn less than their average Republican unindicted co-conspirators.
And guess what else? They are very very old. Half of Heddah Cheddah supporters are about 55 years old and another 34% are over 65.
And... This Just In... only 2% of his supporters are under 30! That means in a 1,500 person venue, only 30 people will be under 30. The math is clear -- Given their advanced age and eligibility, about 84% of Trump supporters are likely to be on government programs like SS, SSDI or other gimmes to the ungrateful right wing poor.
I had not fully realized just how old and just how uneducated and poor Trump supporters are. No wonder he cannot raise a dime!
I agree. They should be easy to find. Simply go to Cleveland later this month. I imagine it is much the same crowd that went from city to city.
Ah! Travelling is broadening!
Or maybe Trump can pay his debts? Which, of course, he is not known to do. He should unleash his Orange Squirrel Power Rangers and impose a temporary denture tax? A tax on prunes? Or a Depends surcharge? Just a thought because Trump cannot raise a dime! Nobody trusts him and nobody likes him, either.
send bill to soros and moveOn and the dog whistle blowing media. Without their coordinated attacks, police could have stayed home.
