Its pretty pathetic that a candidate, who has been a public servant for over 20 years, needs to raise tens of millions of dollars to run ads to tell peole who she is..as if they dont know already.
Trump, on the other hand, knows he is widely popular with the people, and doesnt have to resort to ads.
Uh yeah, "wildly popular" might be overstating it just a tad.
Ha ha! Clinton and her pacs have out spent Trump 12 to 1 and she's barely ahead in the polls. What a weak candidate she is.
An average of 5 points isn't barely ahead. The same could be said of Trump as well. He was supposed to handle Hillary quite easily. Even Paul Manafort said that this would be a very easy election for Trump. Turns out it's not going as well for them as they hoped. It shows just how weak both candidates are really.
Trump was honest and forecoming about how they have to buy the elected officals.. he is tired of it and believes it is corrupt.. Hillary loves it and take a dollar from anywhere .. including Russia .. nice plutonium deal Russia got from Hillary.
The middle east buys Hillary so where does the American people think they stand.. they don't .. as Hillary said I will take jobs where I see fit.. to hell with American industry.
don't think how many either of them are raising is going to make much difference right now: they are both so disliked it has become a matter of who can we put up with for 4 years the easiest? all the money, ads, etc. isn't going to make people sit up and listen to either. Trump still has the advantage of so much free publicity and he is still more willing to be interviewed than she is.

It is sad and I doubt she is getting much traction from ads, but I have to disagree with you on popularity: Trump is probably or not probably is; the most disliked candidate to ever get this far. His negatives are even higher than hers. You will support him: good for you: I will support him, good for me, but I am a realist, you seem to have your head in the sand.

The fact that Trump is getting slammed by the media almost 24/7 and that he is still holding strong is quite an accomplishment

OTOH, Trump may have the advantage of getting "free" publicity, but he's not putting in the money for ground operations to get out the vote. That's a difference - you're right - ads, after a point, don't have much effect in terms of getting folks out to vote.

It is when you consider that Hillary has out spent Trump 12 to 1. Add to that, she fund raised for a year before Trump even announced. This was supposed to be a cake walk for Hillary, remember? Fist women president, hear me roar, and all of that feminist propaganda.

Nonsense. Trump's candidacy is unique in that the odds were, and are still stacked against him, thanks to the GOPe and crooked Hillary. And what do you expect Manafort to say? That Trump has no chance? Stop giving creedence to the politicians and their handlers and listen to what the American people are saying.
Answer this: If Obama's administration was such a success and so popular with the American people, why did Hillary struggle so much with Sanders and why hasn't this been a slam dunk against Trump?
It is so funny to read the Trump spinners try and put a positive spin on fact very few are willing to back Trump by opening their wallets instead of their mouths.
Yes, it's clear that all the dutiful little Trump fans got their memo on how they were supposed to spin this. You know they would have been crowing and doing a dance if Trump had good fund raising numbers and claiming that was proof he was going to win.

And "dutiful little Hillary fans" got the memo on how they have to go out there and crow about Hillary taking even more money from her mega-rich donors. It's sad that the "dutiful little Hillary fans" are unaware that by taking their money, they will always come first---the heck with her constituents.
