Nope. That's totally unconfirmed. As of this date, the FEC has not received the necessary paperwork from the Trump organization stating that those loans are forgiven. Only Trump saying so. Kinda like the Veteran's donations. Forgive me if I have serious doubts about the veracity of that claim.

Trump can use donations to pay his loans until August.

He will probably use some of the "little people's" money to pay part of his loans. The rest he will use them in his taxes to get tax break like Mitt Romeny did.

Trump evolves very quickly and sometimes what he says is just "a suggestion"

Remember when he said he was gonna self-fund his campaign and that no one could buy him? Well he changed his mind. He evolved into a corrupt politician.

also, we have yet to see the evidence that trump has converted his loans to donations. all $51million could get sucked up paying trump back $54million before the convention.
As a crooked Hillary supporter I can see how you are used to thinking like that and you should. But we are talking Trump here and that's the difference. What crooked Hillary speech did you get the one for the little people or the one for Wall St. ?

He did finance his own primary campaign, unlike Hillary. FWIW, the establishment is scared sh****ss of Trump because he plans to shake things up and hold people accountable.

Throwing money towards an election does not guarantee favorable outcome. Buying a media company like Jeff Bezos did by buying the Washington Post and then goes on to use it to attack Trump gets you more results.

Trump has done well being frugal using social media and being available to the media even though they did very little favors for him mis-quoting him most of the time and distorting the facts like NY Times did.

She'll only make wall street execs richer (she'll have many favors to return) and strip more and more freedom away from us. She's all about power and control and continuing Obamas agenda to destroy this country! I don't think Trump is the best choice but between the two he's a Godsend compared to her!!
Yeah well so has Trump. That pretty much negates your argument there. It's funny how many of you think that a billionaire that has made his living enriching himself is somehow out to help the common man. I have no illusions about Hillary Clinton, but Trump is looking out for Trump and no one else. Anyone that things otherwise has not been paying that much attention.

From what I read, half of that $51 mil that his supporters threw away is going to the GOP to support down ticket races, and in the same period 4 years ago Romney raised over $110M, so this isn't as great as it seems.

Most of it will probably be paid to Trump-owned businesses anyway.

Is that figure pledges, or actual dollars received? The July 20 FEC report should be interesting.
