They don't have any say over it. Thats the purview of the NSA director I believe. He isn't going to nix the clearance of someone that might sit in the Oval Office since when he sits in it he will have to give her that information anyway. Sort of makes it a pointless gesture.
Or, maybe the violation is deemed so serious that she is disqualified for the office. Just because we are so far into the election cycle shouldn't eliminate what would otherwise be a perfectly acceptable solution. If someone proves that they can't be trusted with some of the most sensitive information known to our government, do they really deserve a second chance and a promotion?
I'm sure that the criminally corrupt hacks at the State Department want to quickly whitewash everything. Maybe they will find her conduct "troubling" or some such nonsense.
We need to completely clean house in the entire federal government.
She is about to become president. I dont think nobody wants to be the one to cross her path in a bad way before she come president because they know she will serve some payback

Not saying it will actually happen, but again, think about why that is.
Then think about whatever job you may have now or may have had in the past. Imagine screwing up so bad that the police or FBI were called in, nobody could tell for sure if you lied to everyone about messing up (intentionally or not) one of the most sensitive parts of your job, and allowing your direct reports to also be involved in that activity, likely directing them to do the same bad things you allegedly did. Now imagine leaving that job and coming back a year later to apply for a position 2-3 levels higher within the organization.
Are you seriously even going to be considered for the job? Not a chance.
This is a sad example of what happens when you only have two choices and both of them are horrible. Great example of why picking the "lesser of two evils" is such a horrible position to be put in.
After the disasterous efforts by Comey today to justify his recommendations regarding prosecuting Clinton and his admission that she lied repeated to the FBI, there is no way that further investigation can't be undertaken...even for the sake of optics.
After his asinine decision not to bring charges against her despite all his findings, he should lose his job and she should be in prison!
