Ted Cruz to speak at GOP convention following Donald Trump meeting - CNNPolitics.com

Well, pigs do fly I guess.

Quote:
A senior Trump campaign official said Trump and Cruz agreed to no longer work against each other and would work together on policy issues where they share common ground. Trump also asked Cruz to help recommend potential judicial nominees, the official said.
But it makes sense I believe. Both are outsiders/shunned by the establisment club so they really have something very much in common.

Dexter75.....are you able to type after hearing this announcement?

I have suspected that Trump would nominate Cruz for the Supreme Court at some point, so it looks like Cruz is on board. It is coming together.

I don't care for Cruz but he has the knowledge and education to be a worthy member of the SC where things like personality doesn't matter. That is the nicest thing that I can say about him.

Promises, promises, promises. Trump makes lots of them and keeps none. Ask all the people who've lost money in his investment scams.

I'm not a cruz fan either but if he truly is a strict reader of the consitituion which I think he could very well be, I think that would be a great spot for him.

Dream on. He did terrible in the primary. Fail. The establishment dislikes him. I think the rep's will put up the typical RINO/bought off types that have been running our country so well and many in the herd love.

GIGO.....garbage in, garbage out material, once again. Clueless herd helping the bought off set once again being swayed by slick words and lies that the herd seems to love so much. Use me, lie to me...you got my vote as you seem so "presidential!

I'm sure the phrase "Heidi and the girls" will be used at least once during his speech.
