You obviously missed the point. If they become citizens then they can vote.

I don't think that is correct. I just took a practice test for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and I had the option to take it in Spanish.

The one question does seem kind of funny to ask you what the first three words are in the Constitution.

As the constitution was written in English, the Spanish translation is not really the correct answer

1. Nombre una rama o parte del gobierno.
el Congreso
seis (6)

Viva is now considered an English word since it has been used in English since the 1640s. Once the word is used in English speakers for a long time, it is considered an English word that has been borrowed.

rodeo has been used in English since 1834, so it now considered an English word, but it just happens to be borrowed from Spanish

Chaise lounge is a corruption of French phrase, but has been used in English since 1800. So now it is considered an English word.
Sounds like you passed. Congratulations ..and welcome.

George W Bush also spoke Spanish -- I believe he campaigned in Spanish in parts of Texas -- and won a much higher percentage of the Latino vote in 2000 and 2004 than either McCain or Romney.

Most Latino citizens are from south of our border even though they have Spanish roots. Many of them support amnesty for their illegal amigos and most of the GOP opposes that. The Democrats are pushing it therefore most Latinos vote Democrat. Unless the GOP is willing to thumb their noses at our immigration laws for them they will continually vote Democrat.

Not as many that are supporters of illegal immigration from their own ethnic though and the same goes for the wall. One of the reasons that the Democrats are getting the bulk of the Mexican America vote is because they want amnesty for their illegal amigos and an open border with Mexico.
