No. It is my position that YOU don't understand the full scope of OPSEC. It doesn't just apply to "unclassified" situations, but that's the term you chose to focus on. Let's not go down the rabbit hole.

Of course it does. It focuses on giving intelligence to an adversary via things which are not classified.

It focuses on disclosure of important information by patterns formed from things which are individually not significant but when taken in context with other factors may provide useful information to the other side.

It has nothing to do with the classification of documents in systems used by the SofS.
