And, he doesn't much care to attempt to overcome that, either...

"Overall, Trump’s convention is going to look like a boys’ locker room compared to a Democratic convention focused upon the first female presidential nominee of a major party. The heart of Trump’s problem is that top Republican women, especially women of color, are distancing themselves from him and his convention."

Well, actually, it isn't just women. He has a problem with any minority...

"A Quinnipiac poll taken late last month found Trump registering exactly one percent support among African-American voters with Clinton garnering 91 percent.
Among Latina women, a Fox News Latino poll in May found Clinton leading Trump by 68 percent to 17 percent."

I'm waiting to see results from polling coming in after Comey's report. There will be women and minorities who believe that lying and endangering our country is a major flaw. I haven't been able to find any current polling. Funny though, the polls don't seem to reflect what people are saying in person or the groups that have formed in support of Trump.

More voters will be listening after the conventions and as November gets closer. The relevancy of Trump's messages will speak to the people like that of no other candidate, thus the reason he has come as far as he has.

For those that vote only to avoid the lesser of the evils, Trump will be that candidate. Dems with a conscience may very well sit out the election too. All good for Trump.

So start a thread about Charlie Manson running for president. You seem to be interested in the idea, since you bought it up in at least one other thread.

This thread is about Trump and his poll numbers with specific demographics. Which seem to not be improving as time goes by. I'll be interested to see whether formally getting the nomination will help him, but - so far, I'm not seeing it.

I sorry to inform you but this woman is pro Trump for the simple reason is I engage my mouth prior to engaging my brain. This is all Trump is guilty of it just comes out wrong. I had a similar problem in my career and had to learn to engage my brain first or I was going no where in my career. Since I had the incentive to change my ways I did so but I suppose if you are already at the top of the heap there isn't much incentive to change. I have ever reason he is trying to do so now.

OP you are wrong - where are you getting your information. CNN the Clinton News Network?

It is a fact more republicans are voting this year due to the silent minority coming out to support Trump at his rally's..

Have you been to a Trump rally? I have standing in line for almost two hours and getting inside. Standing with 1000's pf men and women, whites, blacks, Asians, Spanish of all ages. Everyone I spoke to was concerned with the future of America - not four more years of the last eight years.

hmmm... read the OP; that story came from The Hill, not CNN. You are wrong.

Yep, and a lot of the people who voted in the republican primaries actually voted for someone other than trump. Sad that y'all are nominating someone who didn't get anywhere near a majority of the votes in the republican primaries, despite the surge in voting.

Why bother going to a rally and all the personal inconvenience that entails? He can hardly be more interesting live than he is on the tv constantly. I prefer watching the train wreck from a distance, and also one that I can switch off. I believe that trump himself has complained that the massive attendance at his rallies hasn't translated into actual support for him. Again, it is the train wreck effect.

The link in the OP talked about multiple survey results, in which it is clear that trump is not making any headway with women and other minorities.

A self-selected group of people attend Trump rallies. They aren't representative of the general electorate.

Republicans are already a minority of the general electorate. Doesn't look too good for the orange man. Sad!

The list of people the Donald has alienated is longer than Shaq's right leg. Geez, the only ones left are a handful of angry white guys and a few women who find his demeanor charming (i think you can find most of them watching professional wrestling and Duck Dynasty).

But back to the topic at hand; this will be the worst election results for republicans since Dick Nixon was in office and ruined the republican party.

Self-selected? What an odd thing to say.

I guess self-selected is far, far, far, far better than stocking the audience with actors and plants.

BTW, I'm female, and Trump is doing well with me. And to the weird comment above, I've never and would never watch pro wrestling and don't watch Duck Dynasty. Leave it to lefties to make broad, idiotic statements about people they don't know. It's all they have.
