I think a better pick would be Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, who would have been another "Washington outsider" and a more moderate voice ... a former Democrat (like Trump) who is pro-choice.

I expect to see a bounce for Trump in the polls as soon as it's announced. Many voters will be reassured by the familiar name and face while relieved it's not Palin.

The bounce will probably last until after the convention. So it will be a good couple of weeks for Trump if he can keep his foot out of his mouth that long.

He would have been smeared as a racist and a bigot just like everyone anyone else, so no he wouldn't be any better.

The best choice is someone who can dish it out as well as the bottom dwelling Democrats can.

I doubt this will happen. Gingrich is one of the sleaziest scumbag politicians that has ever existed. The fact that Trump is willing to resurrect the career of a piece of human slime like Gingrich may be the final nail in the coffin of his joke of a campaign. Most people that are familiar with Gingrich will also remember that he was forced to resign in disgrace after being reprimanded by almost 200 members of his own party.

Hah, Trump is "anti-establishment" and pick this guy as his running mate. Gingrich is the epitome of establishment. And of course a puppet of the billionaire class who couldnt care less about working class folks. Gingrich was a big architect of NAFTA. So there goes that Trump talking point; which was always a lie, Trump is a part of the global 0.1% and loves NAFTA.
