Wow. Republicans need to look in the mirror and think about how they got to where they are.

The Republican congress has consistently polled bad, but the whole party in general today has only a 35% favorable rating among Americans.

I'm 28, and my only experience as an adult witnessing the Republican party is during the Bush era, where they waged war and spent like crazy while have the worst job creation record in history, and the post Obama era, where I witnessed old angry white people storm polls during midterms to claim congress, and since then they have spent all their energy just trying to obstruct every single thing Obama does, offering no alternatives that would help the less fortunate in society.

Now, a racist has been elected as your party nominee. A man who degrades women, Mexicans, and the disabled.

I can't even. I think in a hundred years American history books will look back on this time as the collapse of the party of Lincoln. There is just no way that Republicans can turn away from all the things they have done to make America hold them in furor.

Republicans

At least Democrats have the support of 50% of Americans.

How is making billionaires richer a bad thing? Surely this trickle down has to work at some point in our lives.

First of all, Trump is NOT a "racist". Stop repeating that lie. The rest of your assertions about him are also wrong.

Next, I don't like either party because neither is looking out for Americans. The sad thing is that at one time democrats truly looked out for the poor, working and middle classes. In the past, one could count on them to do just that. Today's dems put illegals ahead of the millions of suffering underemployed and unemployed Americans---and that's a real shame.

Both parties are in the pockets of their mega-rich donors and as a result, said donors come before their constituents each and every time.

Why does he attract so many racists, though? If its not Donald, then it must be conservative policies in general which attract them?

If it talks like a racist, and re-tweets like a racist... it seems pretty certain it is a racist. Arguments to the contrary fall on deaf ears.

Old, angry white men? Hmm, now just who is the real racist here? Trump is not a racist. He does not degrade women in general nor Mexicans in general. The disabled? lol.

Trump may not personally be a racist, but he knows that a large percentage of his supporters are racists, bigots and/or nativists and his rhetoric is designed to appeal to them.

I actually don't know what is worse, being a racist or acting like you are to get people to support you.

Nothing racist about pointing out the demographics of the midterms, which are overwhelmingly dominated by older white people. I myself will be an old white male some day, and as a liberal it is astonishing how different my own politics are from white males generations older than me.

Right, his comments about Megan Kelly being on her period wasn't degrading to women. And what did he say about Ted Cruz's wife again?

So Trump saying that Mexican American's aren't fit to be judges isn't prejudiced towards Mexicans? That is text book racism!

That sounds like you're describing Obama more than anyone else.

As a conservative I am disgusted that you use the name Donald and conservative in the same sentence. Donald is NOT a conservative. He is a carpet bagging liberal democrat playing a populist to get the votes of those who perceive themselves to be disenfranchised. THAT is the group that attracts racists, etc.
