Only slightly more people think they've seen a Hillary ad: she's run 20,000 since June 8 and her superpacs have run 11,000.

Meanwhile they are in a statistical dead heat in most polls.

The email scandal is taking a toll:

Hillary Clinton lead over Donald Trump shrinks to 3 points in a new McClatchy-Marist Institute poll | McClatchy DC

Trump can't win.
I have only seen 1 ad from Trump and it was 100% effective..and hilarious

A few? More like "a lot". They have bombarded our airwaves. Please. If people see an anti-Hillary ad, it's not really THAT far-fetched to think it is a pro-Trump ad.

And let's not pretend there are no pro-Trump and anti-Hillary digital ads.

This ridiculous notion that Trump is not campaigning is beyond stupid.

It is a "trump" ad regardless of if his campaign is the one who made it.

..
I live in Alabama, but the local ABC,CBS,FOX, NBC, and CW Stations all service Pensacola and the Florida Panhandle.

Donald Trump may not be running but a few ads, but I have seen Anti Hillary Superpac ads( and Anti Bernie/Democrat ads) since February.

Pro Hillary Ads didnt start till late June here. He had a 5 month head start the way I see it.

As for crowds, Hillary hasnt attempted to have huge crowds, most of her rallies have been in small event centers.

I have seen the news stations show some of his Internet/YouTube ads on their TV segments. Perhaps that is part of the reason for the confusion.

Here in NY I haven't seen any Trump advertising or pro-Trump ads. However, there have been a number of PACs running ads that are generically anti-Hillary and Obama and expressing the need for change. There is no mention of Trump or his policies.

Absolutely.

If I had no clue who either candidate was I'd vote for Trump based on this ad alone.

Hillary looks like a complete idiot... which is better than looking like a liar? LOL

That's a good way to spin it.

The article is very specifically discussing TV ads - not ads on the radio, not on twitter, youtube.

And unless you have contrary evidence, I'll think I'll take the word of the Wall Street Journal on this:

"Nearly half of voters in a recent survey said they had seen TV ads supporting Donald Trump in the last week.

There’s just one problem: His campaign hasn’t aired any, and his friendly super PACs have run very few.

Meanwhile, 52% of respondents said they had seen an ad promoting Democrat Hillary Clinton—just six percentage points more than the proportion who said they had spotted Trump ads. Mrs. Clinton has aired more than 20,000 TV ad spots since June 8, on top of more than 11,000 aired by her friendly super PAC, according to the Center for Public Integrity, which analyzed Kantar Media/CMAG ad data."
