Many Voters Think They’ve Seen Trump Ads On TV — But He Hasn’t Run Any - Washington Wire - WSJ

Only slightly more people think they've seen a Hillary ad: she's run 20,000 since June 8 and her superpacs have run 11,000.

Meanwhile they are in a statistical dead heat in most polls.

The email scandal is taking a toll:

Hillary Clinton lead over Donald Trump shrinks to 3 points in a new McClatchy-Marist Institute poll | McClatchy DC

Trump can't win.

It's not that he can't win, it's that he can't articulate himself in a way to capitalize on his horrifically flawed opponent. The man needs some speech classes.

He's pretty good at speaking in the active voice, but it's too basic and doesn't cut into the core.

The media fascination with him may be the reason people think they saw an ad. The news is all Trump all the time. Every utterance is a headline. He can't open his mouth to yawn without it being BREAKING.

I would suggest he's in a statistical tie in most national polls and even polling ahead in some swing state polls indicates he's speaking well enough to resonate with a lot of people.

We've been told he's going to get creamed so many times and has no chance - she should be up 10-20 points.

She's run 20,000 ads since June 8 for crying out loud.

That's a crap load of money in the toilet. If I'm donating, I'd seriously reconsider wasting my money...maybe donate it to a charity or something.

I've seen very little pro Trump advertising in SW FL. Anytime a Clinton ad appears, I change the channel.

The greased pig gets the same treatment barry gets, they're not allowed on my television.

I think there may be a strategy in play here. Were I Trump, I might let greased pig continue to throw her (supporter's) cash to the wind, since she really isn't pulling that far ahead anyway, and wait until the last 4-5 weeks before the general.

Then, blitz the airwaves with my message. Being able to outspend, out advertise, and generally outdo the opponent on every level right before poll time. Trump doesn't do things with a "conventional" model.

The adds didn't work for dynasty candidate Jeb in the primary and they won't work for dynasty candidate crooked Hillary either in the general. Like I said before and it is evident now, it's a waste of money.

Hillary running 20,000 ads verse Trump running a few and they are at a tie..... Hum.....does this show he's a better manager? Why not do a comparison how many are attending rally's.

Last night in Westfield Indiana, camera panning crowd show 1000's attending Trump rally.

Yes, ads may be losing their ability to influence voters.
