It's like a Republican circle jerk in here. The candidate that sounds the MOST like Nixon is the "LAW AND ORDER candidate, Donald Trump.
Perhaps you should give him a second look.
The answers to your questions are No, No, and NO.
Again with the Nixon comparison. Your candidate, Trump, most resembles Nixon than any candidate I have ever seen.
In all manner, she brings Nixon to mind. Her single-minded obsessiveness to become President at all costs wreaks of the same character as the President who brought disgrace to the Office during his reign of terror.
We can thank Clinton supporters for resurrecting his memory.
This thread certainly has the haters snarling and snapping.
Did you just notice that these are two of the most hated candidates in history? And for good reason. They put their own ambitions ahead of everything else no matter how much suffering they may cause.

That is false. It's your boy Trump that is repeatedly compared to Nixon these days - in words and in deeds.
Did not Nixon proclaim himself the 'Law and Order Candidate'?

And Trump has also invoked the Silent Majority and pursued a variation of the Southern Strategy with regards to appeals to white voters. Both electoral rhetoric and tactics that Nixon pioneered.

And Clinton didn't pursue a Southern Strategy to win the primary?
Clinton supporters one and only strategy is that she is not as loathsome as Trump. Thanks for making her the candidate.
Well, Hillary is the worst in my life time. Never seen some one who is so dedicated to being a leach for power....
Besides the barking, dishonesty, cackling, cowardliness to take live questions ...and the fact that she would mislead all the Bernie supporters, who are falling hook line and sinker for her....plus, maybe she should add some color to her hair, grey is out of style...
And this doesn't touch on her policy that I have a big problem with. The best way to approach her, is ..it is all about Hillary, and anything to self promote. Someone who makes 200k per speech...and then trys to portray herself for the little guy.
At least with the deal maker, we know he wants to promote more market based policies and less likely to agree to income and wealth distribution to those who are envious of others...

I'd trust a hunting trip with Dick Cheney more than I'd trust little Donny Trump.
Clinton wreaks with desperation as she hunts for any vote she can get. Her deplorable mannerisms that drips of saccharin brings me to wonder has there ever been anyone worse.
Adlai Stevenson was certainly weak and Dukakis comical. Bush was a marionette and Gore was a robot. Nixon was worse than bad and could be a contender. But for shear disgust, I cannot think of anyone that can beat Clinton, simply because she is such weasel and Quisling. If you can think of someone, please share.

Context, context, context.
The Southern Strategy is, historically and specifically, about getting political support from whites by appealing to racism against African Americans.
Clinton did campaign in the South but she was specifically going FOR African American votes (and won them).
That's the weakest, most ignorant attempt at deflection that I've seen in a long time.
