Should make a poll.

I really would like it to be Newt. He's bold, intellectual and knows how Washington runs.

Christie has likability problems and Pence is soft.

Only the best! I just cannot tell. I think he probably has his entire cabinet lined up after seeing so many. I think he got a lot of opinions from others on who would be the best choice and I am sure the GOP party has given some "input" also.

My pick is Sessions. No more ****ty trade deals and H1Bs flooding our job market.

My guess is he will go with Pence as he is maybe the safest option. He does have some extreme negatives but he would be the best chance for an ultraconservative nominee to get in the White House if Trump does win. Christie is just too left of center for a lot of the base to get all that thrilled about and Newt has way too much baggage. Besides, outside of Republicans most people don't like him that much, same with Christie. The one bad thing about Pence is that he is very conservative and he signed that state RFARA that got a lot of flack. How much that and other things he did in regards to his positions would hurt him is up for grabs. I think he will be hurt less than Newt or Christie though.

So does Newt. Both he and Christie are liked by GOP members but are unliked by independents and Democrats. I also don't know how wise it is to choose a guy that will be nearly halfway to 80 your first year in office either.

I have wondered about Newt's age/health and if he would be able to keep up physically.

But non-conservatives hate Newt. I don't know why people don't like Christie. I like him a lot!
