Those who complain about Pence would have said the same thing about Gingrich, Christie, Carson or anyone else who Trump picked. Who are we kidding? Yes, Pence was uncomfortable tonight in the interview but Trump laid down the maker. Pence can say whatever he wants and Trump is not going to to apologize for him. Truth is you can't find another Trump anywhere in the public arena. If he could find one he'd be accused of picking his clone.

The problem is him picking an establishment candidate.

It also weakens his argument against Hillary for Iraq and his characterization of her as pro-Nafta, pro-TPP ~ when his OWN VP pick was very enthusiastic about all of the above.

Don the nut at it again. Just shows he has no position on anything and is in early stage of dementia.

Trump doesn't have any sincerely held beliefs, isn't loyal to anyone or anything,.... neither does hillary

..... and his base of knowledge is too narrow for him to establish real policies. Perfect description of obama the community organizer.

She's entirely motivated by self interest

Trump said the deals made in those trade agreements were poorly negotiated.

Trump would agree to any deal where the US benefitted.

"Fat" trump might fall over dead??? Hillary is the one with medical problems.

This thread isn't about Hillary. What can you say about Pence and his beliefs and policies and how they correspond to Trump's?

I say that there's no point in talking about how Pence's beliefs/policies compare to Trump's because Trump has none--other than relentless self-promoting.

The fact that he picked a VP which disgrees with him, shows a level of maturity beyond your comprehension.

Ha! That's quite a spin there, mister.

It much more likely means (1) Trump doesn't know his own opinions, much less Pence's; (2) He had a very short list of people to choose from because no one but losers and has-beens wanted the job; and/or (3) Ivanka or his son-in-law told him to pick Pence because he couldn't get along with Newt and Christie would have created immediate, hilarious soundbites, as in, "Trump isn't fit to be commander-in-chief."

But just keep on talking about Trump being mature.

If he is elected, his first and only term will just be him being controlled by the Republican establishment. |

The sad part is, if he does win, that will lead to the rise of the Berniecrats and a land slide in their favor and that will lead to a string of 1 term presidents and nothing will get done for an entire generation.
Again, while you fret and wring your hands over a VP, you need to be looking at the person you're voting to be P....everything you're carrying on about with the VP, is what your P candidate has supported. Clean your own house first.

And if he didnt pick an established candidate, you guys all would have cried and moaned and groaned as well. So in the end, it doesnt matter what the left wants.. they arent your candidate anyways.
