1. Learn to spell.
2. Let's say you were to dig up a transcript of the speeches Patrick and Obama each gave. How close would you say they are? Close enough to stand up in court?

Furthermore, did you read anywhere in Hillary's book that she cited/credited the phrase "it takes a village" to the African proverb whence it came?
Elmonellie well you have already made up your mind right? What is your point besides the fact that he used somebody else words? Why don't you start a McCain thread on plagerism? "NO NEW TAXES"
Even Dr King plagerized words in his speeches & sermons but it got his point across and Obama is no different. Save the hate.
oh southern nature lover at least Obama can speak unlike the chimp in the White House.
The only thing silly is how people keep thinking he is such a great speaker. Obama is such a phony.
Whatever else one might say about him, it is incredible that anyone could deny that he is a gifted speaker. That's not to say anything about his quality as a person, because inspiring politicians from Ronald Reagan to JFK to Adolph Hitler were all gifted speakers, whatever their other qualities.
