It seems to me Trump's very campaign itself is not making America great again but making many Americans feel bad about who they are.

Is that what someone does who is going to lift America up as president?
if you're offended, that's a you problem. the 'non offensive' approach hasn't worked, we have become soft and an embarrassment. If you 'feel bad about who you are' because some stranger on television said so, you need to address those problems, that's got nothing to do with DJT

OP, didn't you hear the latest? Every time someone brings up Trump's endless insults, a Trump supporter says it was a joke. Except when he made fun of the disabled reporter, that was an accident. See? Oopsie!

Yes, because the city of Detroit was looking great before 2008! Things only got bad under Obama!

Yep. Keep telling yourself that. If more liberal policies "devastate" inner cities, then why don't European cities look like Detroit? Why don't Canadian cities, like Toronto, look like Detroit?

Btw, I lived in Metro Detroit for 14 years, so I know what I'm talking about. I had never in my life seen a devastated inner city until I moved to the US (Detroit) in '97. And, from my perspective, the city didn't improve at all under 8 years of Bush.

Almost all politicians in the US are corrupt, lying, divisive. But Trump trumps them all.

I agree with the first part of the statement, especially as it applies to Hillary Clinton. As to the second part, Trump is not technically a politician, which is probably part of his problem.

Trump isn't a career politician, but he is every bit as corrupt in his business dealings as most American politicians are in their political dealings. How anyone can think otherwise is beyond me.
