Actually, that makes me feel better. I'm really glad he didn't give away a medal he earned through his own personal sacrifice to a man who doesn't know the meaning of the term.

And honest to say he'd never done anything in his life to be worthy of it.

thats what should have been done unless he actually did it...then he should've done something else. Trump is incapable of doing the right thing!!! I think he actually breathes...he should stop breathing.

TDS is a funny condition.

What an honor and who would have known what to say. What is wrong with these evil people who are trying to demonize Trump. We who like him know why we like him. He is good for our country. My husband had the same type thing happen at a hotel one day. A vet was telling him how many problems his service had caused him mentally. We were an honorable listening ear. We showed him respect and he returned the favor. He saw it was going to hurt the man's feelings if he didn't take it. The vet told him to pass it on to someone else.

No Trump is not perfect and sticks his foot in his mouth sometimes but the difference between the two front running candidates is one has his heart in the race and the other one has her hand out in the race. I hope some of you soon learn the difference because if you vote for the wrong one it will be catastrophic for our country. I firmly believe that!

Now I have something to ask the media. Are you going to report this for the honorable touching moment it is or are you going to act like you usually do and try to make Trump look bad? The man did not give him the heart because he thought he was bad. If I see much more of this demonizing I am going to turn off the TV until the election because I have had just about all I can take of evil coming from the tube.

According to trump, the guy tells him it's the real thing, not a replacement, right there in the vid in this thread... What's up with that?

0:17 -- "And I said to him -- is that the real one or is that a copy? And he said that's my real purple heart..."

Fine. I'll give him the award myself! As long as he's happy with that and stays far, far away from the presidency.

Well, he could have lost or misplaced the original, which is why he got a replacement.

That vet is going to regret what he did, I guarantee it. I feel sorry for him.

This was a unique PR opportunity for Trump to say...."I am honored that you want to give this media but you keep it because you have made the ultimate sacrifice for your country." Instead, this moron asks him if it's real? Has he ever heard of the Stolen Valor Act? You can't walk around with a fake Purple Heart. This guy is not smart enough to be be POTUS.

I wonder if the whole thing was staged as a round-about way of insulting the Khan family.
