Saw the same thing in 2012 and in 2008. People trying to come up with crazy ways to explain why all the polls were wrong. One only needs to remember Dick Morris on Fox News doing that. Then in 2012 you had all kinds of right wing pundits claiming that the "Bradley effect" was forcing people to overstate their support for the first black President. Because of that the election was really a nail biter rather than Obama being up by 6. Neither of them turned out to be true. In both cases Obama out performed the polling.
