Most polls still show Clinton ahead, 538 has it ranged from 75.3% to 82.2% in the three models. The math for Trump gets very difficult without at least one of VA, CO, or PA and his chances in those states are all quite poor.

He absolutely does need Pennsylvania to win, because math. Your fantasy football political handicapping only goes so far - it can't suspend the rules of mathematics. Even in your fantasy world, where he wins OH, FL, and NC, he's still something like 17 EV short. He can't fill that in without PA. Or what are you going to suggest next - "What if they create a whole new state with 25 electoral votes, and Trump wins it?"

Impossible? No, but he would need to start flipping states he is doing wven worse than PA in to do so. Even if he picks up IA, NV, OH and FL from 2012 and holds all the Romney states he is still short. The question is what are the states that will put him above 270??

You did not - to say there's no way to win without PA is in fact untrue. Use your mathemical skills to count up the electoral votes from toss up states.

Not impossible, but extremely unlikely.
