the national polls are going for Hillary right now but Trump is making some strong ground in the swing states. Trump really only needs one more state in addition to Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, and NC where is now leading. There is a possibility that Trump could lose the popular vote but win the election

This was the first bit of positive news for Sick Hillary in weeks.

But, of course, as is the case with EVERYTHING the liberal media reports these days, there’s more to the story…
If you click on NBC poll and scroll all the way down looking for some information that would lead to her having such a huge advantage when we know it’s not true, you find this—

They ask on question QF1b/c If you voted yes in the 2012 election whom did you vote for?

Get this…
47% Obama
33% Romney

That’s a 14 point spread!
In reality Obama beat Romney by 3.9%!

This is how they help Hillary Clinton.
By lying to the American public.
Remember this as we get closer to the election.

I believe Clinton is overall ahead but this poll here is clearly BS
The response to that question is not an indication that there were more Democrats in the sample since, and get ready for some shocking news, not every voter votes for their party's candidate.

The closest you come to knowing party affiliation is a couple of questions later:
Quote:
QF4 Generally speaking, do you think of yourself as a Democrat, a Republican, an independent, or something else? (IF "DEMOCRAT" OR "REPUBLICAN," ASK: ) Would you call yourself a strong (Democrat/Republican) or not a very strong (Democrat/Republican)? (IF "NOT SURE," CODE AS "NOT VERY STRONG DEMOCRAT/REPUBLICAN.") (IF "INDEPENDENT," ASK: ) Do you think of yourself as closer to the Republican Party, closer to the Democratic Party, or do you think of yourself as strictly independent? (IF "NOT SURE," CODE AS "STRICTLY INDEPENDENT.")
Strong Democrat .............................22
Not very strong Democrat .................10
Independent/lean Democrat ...............13
Strictly Independent..........................13
Independent/lean Republican ..............12
Not very strong Republican ................10
Strong Republican ............................15
Other (VOL) ......................................5
Not sure .........................................-
Since we don't have the raw data to match up affiliation with how they voted we can only come up with general theories about what the results mean. I think it shows that all self identified Democrats voted for Obama and so did most independent and some Republicans, which make sense with the election outcome.

What's more concerning is that 15% didn't vote in the last election and they weren't asked if they intended to vote in the upcoming election so it's possible that removing those people could change the results.

The caveat to that is that state polling tends to lag National polling. So if these National polls hold up then state polls should begin reflecting that in a week or so.

Saying 14% more Democrats is odd math. The poll was 35% Dem, 30% GOP. That is 5% more, not 14. You don't figure the difference out by doing 35-30 and dividing that by 35. Its not how it works. It is 5, which is in line with the last two elections.

Also after looking at the entire poll, I don't see anything thatbshows the Obama by 14 sample in the poll your link shows. Seems like they just made it up...

There are more Democrats and democratic swaying voters out there now.

Why? Because the Republican Party is insane.

Lol, we all know Democrats were 100% behind Obama and he even got higher turnout than usual from certain groups

The state polls were taken at the same time. No reason to me why they would be different unless they really are. In 2012 state polls were more accurate than national ones

Romney got 7% of Democrats in 2012. This is typical is most presidential elections and it goes both ways; Obama got 6% of Republicans in 2012.

Indeed, and it is well documented that a significant number of voters pretend that they voted for "the guy that won." Based on that, Obama's numbers would be overinflated.
