And then he got accused of being a murderer because one of the companies he helped reorganize laid off a man whose wife later died of cancer. His garbage men said he wasn't very friendly to them because he never offered them water. The Washington Post ran a multi-page "investigative report" on his behavior at prep school 50 years ago when he was a teenager. They accused him of cruelty to animals, having a car elevator, and being a tax cheat.

Maybe if they had treated Romney more fairly, conservatives wouldn't have gone for Trump who seemed impervious to the media threats.
I wouldn't call the car elevator, low tax rates, and dog in a crate strapped to the roof of a car accusations: those were facts. Romney was a qualified candidate. 2012 was probably not the best year to choose a wealthy candidate with a Wall Street background, but it's water under the bridge.

And there was also this problem: Romney as a governor was the polar opposite of his policy positions as a Presidential nominee.

What was wrong with "I've got binders full of women?" Repeat that sentence a few times and it should be clear.

Welp. You lost that battle. Looks like you're gonna lose this one too.

You guys hate "participation" ribbons (I do too) but it seems like that's the only thing you all qualify for these days. Lol

Something like 9 people involved in the November Paris attack that killed nearly 130. One person took out 49 people in Orlando. Two people took out 14 people in San Bernadino. And on and on and on.
1 person killed 9 people in a church, 1 person killed 26 people (mostly children) in an elementary school, 1 person killed 12 people in a theater. Terrorists are home grown just as often as they are foreign. Its time to stop acting like the only threats to this country are people outside of it. Feeding into xenophobia (which should be the motto of the Trump campaign) serves no purpose other than to further isolate the US and make us more vulnerable to attack.

Unless you are Native (you know those people who were killed and forced onto reservations of their own land?) it seems self righteous to want to cut off America from other countries when you or your ancestors likely immigrated from somewhere too. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, if we want to keep this country safe, it's important to work within the international community, not apart from it.

Yes, they were facts, but they weren't as bad as was portrayed. Binders full of women still isn't offensive, and I really can't think of a good reason why people saw it as such.

Do you think Romney's millions earned in the private sector is worse than Hillary's millions earned while in government? Her pay-to-play deals through the Clinton Foundation? Her claim of being broke while looking for mansions in New York? Her keeping a private server so she could control what her boss and the American people see about her work as our employee? Her being careless with emails containing top secret information and then wiping deleted emails from her server while under a subpoena?

We can't do anything about our own homegrown killers, but we can keep crazies from coming here. And we should! It's not xenophobic to want to make sure the people who immigrate here will be a benefit to this country, and it's not smart to allow millions of people to flood the West from countries that are wholly incompatible with our values.

You like the rights we have worked hard to achieve in this country for women and LGBT people? Then stop importing 7th century ideology. Do you think people from other countries deserve the benefits afforded through the refugee program when we have an underclass that is not being served?

No. Do you think disarming law-abiding citizens will make guns disappear?

Exactly. And Trump has proven he cannot do it. Take for example the media. I am sure the media would be much gentler on Trump if he wasn't insulting them all the time. He tries to attract bees with vinegar, and then when they sting him, he tries to throw more vinegar at them.

If he was smart, he would have learned how to play the media for his benefit. He has not issue getting attention from the media, he's good at that, but he hasn't been strategic in the sense where it benefits him.....

I did not say anything about disarming law-abiding citizens now did I?

You said, "We can't do anything about our home grown killers"
Trump has you feeling both fearful and powerless, pretty pathetic if you ask me.
