Both candidates have some unsavory supporters.

Took Trump about a week to make clear he has no connection to David Duke.

Duke continues to refer to Trump as the White Knight. Says more about Duke than anything else.

Again, you don't get to sit behind the candidate by chance. He supports the Taliban, hates Gays, is a total nut job.

Why was he placed there?
This was aired on Fax as well. We all know the Clinton foundation and her Campaign have taken over 16 million dollars yet from anther foreign donor.

One begins to wonder which side is Clinton?????

Not only did the father just loose his son, that son murdered people. He's sitting right behind Hillary and he is smiling. Is he happy because he thinks his son is in heaven with a bunch of virgins or what. Seriously, I'd be curled up in a fetal position unable to function. He shouldn't have been allowed that close to a presidential candidate until the investigation was completely over anyway. We may be living in the twilight zone, I have no other explanation.
You assume anyone at the rally, other than one media guy, made the connection.

You think thousands of rally attendees are vetted?

None of us know if it was a first come, first seated thing or if some were chosen for diversity.

Those seats behind the candidate are always hand picked because they are so visible.

If so, diversity, gender, race and ethnic appearance likely matters to both candidates.

Does not mean any are personally known to the campaign staff, let alone the candidate.

There would be no upside to positioning him where he sat, if his identity were known.

3000 attended this rally, likely mostly locals, and no one other than the media guy made the connection.

Yes, no question about that. The real question is if the secret service checks out the people behind the candidate. That I don't know.

How would they do so?

No one knows who is going to show till they do and an extensive background check takes considerrable time.

Attendees must clear a metal detector.

Guy was not a physical threat.

Just embarrassment.

Extensive background check, no. Virtually instanteous check similar to when someone buys a gun? Possible.

And not on the whole crowd. Maybe just on the ones within lunging distance of the candidate. Or maybe they do nothing, though that would surprise me.

There was no need for Trump to make it clear he lacked connections to Duke.. Until one is established, you dont need to deny the non existance of something..

You dont get to make things up and pretend they are true, then whine cause others havent proven its not true fast enough..

Most people when they show up at a rally, get pushed into a general public section. I'm told, that those who stand behind a candidate, are usually hand picked for various reasons, usually to get a spread out demographics for looks or some other reason.. Never is it done at random.
