Did anyone hear about this?

-Ohio, Wednesday February 20, 2008

Hot on the heals of yet another night of crushing campaign losses, Hillary Clinton, the former front-runner and shoe-in for the Democratic Presidential nomination, is claiming plagiarism again - only this time she is aiming for the media. "I am really disappointed," she said during a breakfast at the local Pancake Shack, "really disappointed to turn on the news last night to find out that everyone is talking about Barack's plagiarizing of the Governor's speech. That was MY idea. I was the one to call him on it, not you," she proclaimed while waiving her finger to the reporters covering her campaign. "I was the one to point out that Barack took those lines from someone else and if the media wants to try and take credit for this, well, there's something wrong with America." Tears started to well up in her eyes as she proclaimed, "If anybody else wants to say that Barack is a plagiarizer, fine. Just give the credit to that idea where credit is due, namely me."

More at 11.

Is this a joke? This isn't real, is it?! She's really concerned about getting credit for "outing" Senator Obama on "plagiarism"? Where'd you get this quote?

You're kidding right? I don't like the woman, but she's smarter than that.

Why does she constantly repeat what has not worked? That's what her presidency would be like.

I keep wondering the same about her. I cant tell you how many times I've heard her actually take credit for fixing the healthcare system, and working on lowering fuel costs for all americans. Last I checked, both were broke. Instead of giving her credit, we're all tossing blame. THANKS HILLARY FOR HELPING!!

Yes. I was kidding. It's satire, with a thick vein of irony.

I wrote this myself, but love to read the Onion. Home | The Onion - America's Finest News Source
