Absolutely incorrect, he made no references to supporting the group or their methods. He basically said:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9bwi91j99U

Quote:
"What it has done for me is that my head has been in the sand on this, and I think we have all had our heads in the sand. Discrimination exists"
This does not at all lend support to them or their methods, he simply states that their existence opened his eyes to the existence of racism that is still out there.

Correct. Bending over and kissing their ass is not exactly an official endorsement

Hmm, thats your interpretation, which is interesting to say the least. He was asked what he thought of them and he said they opened his eyes to issues. That neither expresses or denies support for them, it simply says that it helped him recognize that a problem existed.

LOL, that is their point. He agree's with it. Right when I pretty much have dismissed him he causes me to reconsider. I still can't stomach Weld though.

Johnson made a concise statement. Weld rambled on like a politician.

Look I am very opposed to the entire BLM movement because of their methods and language, and in fact I find them to be a somewhat racist group. I'm not above admitting though that their emergence indicates the presence of race issues in this country still being something we need to work on. I just don't think their approach is even marginally close to the right answer. I don't see Johnson's comment at all being some sort of open endorsement of THEM, he simply acknowledges that the issue they represent is an issue.

They have got Johnson to acknowledge the problem, they have got you to acknowledge the problem. A problem few were acknowledging not long ago. I admit that I didn't think it was as bad as it is either.

That is getting through to people. They do not care that the letters BLM offends you. That is their experience, that is their cause and it's working.

We have seen increased prosecutions. We have seen increased calls for and the use of body camera's. There have been police officers dealt with that never would have in the past.

They don't care that they offend you.........god, I hate to do this but......do you need a safe place to go?

Didn't you make that Obama commercial a few years ago where you said that Romney sucked?
I mean, that was you, right?

So we both agree, yet you still feel the need to belittle me with your silly ending comment? I love what politics and the internet do to people who are probably reasonable people in real life.

Oh, and its not the letters that offend me, its their actions...like telling white reports that they aren't welcome because of their skin color.
