Will Smith is a very talented person from music to TV and movies he has certainly been successful.
He is of course allowed to have his own ideas and talk about them.
What I don't like is how much influence Hollywood stars have over people who should be using their own brains to think for themselves.
As far as his comments on the middle east I think they need to stop killing each other in barbaric ways and spreading fear throughout their region and the world then we might be able to look at them in a positive way.
Of course Mr Smith the same could be said for many of your fellow african americans who give your people a bad image.
Perhaps you know a good publicist?
Will Smith is entitled to express his opinion. What these celebrities don't get is that their importance has nothing to do with what they think about anything. It must be easy to forget that, when you spend your life having people hang on every word you say.
A smart celebrity would keep his opinions to himself. No matter which side a celebrity is on, he automatically alienates half of his audience when he gives an opinion.
