If Osama Bin Laden and all of the other terrorists could vote for president, who do you think they would like to see elected?

They probably wish Bush could run for a third term. After all, his ill advised attack of Iraq has been a great recruiting tool.

Irrelevant, but a good way to deflect from important issues.

I doubt an old man in a cave really understands the true issues with our economy and who is better suited to deal with it.

Both candidates are equally capable of keeping us in fear from being truly independent, either by scaring us into believing the bombstrapping boogeyman and their ragtag "army" is going to kill my family and myself (R), or that government intervention is the only panacea for evil capitalists who must be tamed through federal might (D).

Ludicrous premise.

But I'd say Bush. He's the best thing to happen to Islamic fundamentalists

That's kind of a silly question. They wouldn't vote for anyone.

Why? Well, if you're lumping all terrorists together, terrorists include many different racial, religious, political, and social groups around the globe, and many have different and often conflicting interests. Your question is far too simple.

If you were to frame it as I'm sure you mean it, which is to ask for whom violent Islamic fundamentalists who engage in terrorism would vote, then I'll answer:

No one. They would vote for no one. They do not believe in the legitimacy of the Westphalian system of nation-states, and want a return to the rule of the Caliphate.

Raise your hand if you've actually heard that before. The media doesn't report that because they like to sensationalize the fundamentalists as just hating freedom, hating America, etc., and too many Americans just love to play the victim or are too dumb to understand the concept of the Caliphate, so they eat up the MSM portrayal.

But the answer is that the violent Islamic fundamentalists who engage in terrorism would vote for no one, because they do not believe in presidential elections or even the concept of a nation-state.

Excellent post and very true. I can actually hear the OP running to his room to look up Caliphate and what it means. He probably got scared off from the intelligent/informed responses to his thread. He was hoping for something different Im sure.

Ridiculous thread but great responses everyone.
