Shot in the dark campaigns: Colorado, New Hampshire, Virginia and Wisconsin. Trump doesn't look good in these but he should sparingly campaign in these states just in case.
Sorry, TX but twos weeks after he has a west coast tour of California, Oregon, and Washington state. Those other states will have to wait a bit for his love.

Why is Trump in Connecticut which hasn't gone to a Republican since 1988? He's even setting up rallies in Bridgeport and Hartford, both extremely democratic areas of an already democratic state.

Did he think he was going to Colorado and got the C's mixed up?
So what? Why not Connecticut? Trump needs to campaign in every state so that people will get his pro-America and pro-economy message. He needs to concentrate heavily on New York, which he needs to win.

He doesn't have a pro economy message. I'm not sure he really has any message to speck of really. He's not going to win New York. The last Republican that carried that state was Ronald Reagan, and regardless of what some of his supporters think Trump is no Ronald Reagan.

Because time is a limited resource. Campaigning in one state means campaigning LESS in another. You need to maximize your reward with the least risk/effort.

During the Primary Trump held huge rallies here and in my city where I live in CT. A lot of bikers and State Police.

Most Trump supporters are switching to Johnson over the last few months.

Still see some Trump signs. Haven't seen a Hillary sign unless in Mass.

Trump has zero chance of winning CT. And he just shut down his New Jersey campaign office.
Excuse me. I lived in CT for most of my life. There are plenty of people who have had their jobs sucked out of this country, and are struggling. High taxes, immigration increases, and tons of welfare leeches have made the average working stiff not happy with the leftist policies.

Whether Trump wins the state or not is anybody's guess. A zero chance of winning? That 's just wishful thinking.

Why not CT?

Because he has zero chance of winning it and it's a waste of resources. It hasn't gone red in 30 years, and is not a pivotal state for him to win in order to win the Presidency.

And Trump isn't going to win NY either. He already pulled out of New Jersey, knowing he can't win there. He has less chance in New York.

Well both Parties did kind of ruin CT. I mean CT is the second highest State in regards to taxes, high property cost, high cost of living, high public higher education cost, unstable State economy, and a dwindling job market. Could see CT going with the other 3 over Hillary wanting change.

So again, what do you care? You aren't a Trump supporter, so what difference does it make to you if he seemingly squanders resources in CT?

Maybe it's because Trump is making a point Democrats don't want to hear in CT. Back in the 70's and 80's a bunch of overtaxed NY'ers moved to CT because property taxes were low and there was no personal income tax. Of course they brought their liberal attitudes with them and started demanding this program and that program. Lowell Weicker shoved a personal income tax through in the 90's and it was off to the races. Property taxes have doubled and tripled just since 2008.

CT has a huuuuuge pension debt crisis and their spotlessly blue legislature has turned CT into a state with one of the lowest economic rankings. Unless you're a millionaire, CT is a tough place to live for the middle-class. Forget it if you're a retiree, they're fleeing before Hartford grabs everything.

Maybe that's why Trump goes to CT.
