The commentator says that the CNN clip is recent but it is from June 2014, well before the primary races and is refering to the amount of coverage Hillary was getting. Note this is well before Bernie, Jeb, Donald and others were formally in the race so she was really the only name/serious contender. When Trump jumped in he got the free publicity ride.
