Republicans have been blowing a lot of smoke to convince voters there is a fire somewhere.

That Hillary Clinton is not perfect is hardly a surprise. Who is?

But the constant, vicious attacks based on thin conspiracy theories is appalling.

But then, so is the Republican candidate for President.

My problem with Clinton - quite apart from the email scandal, Benghazi, etc. - is that she is bought and paid for by corporate America. That means that any tax hikes are going to hit the middle classes again. No way she will be putting up the taxes of her corporate benefactors.

My problem with Trump is that, in my opinion, he is totally unsuited to the job of President. There is no consistency in the man, his policy positions are shallow at best, he tends to pander to populism, he doesn't have the support of his own party and he is divisive rather than a unifier.

For those reasons, I will be voting for Gary Johnson who appears to be sane, is his own man and has policy positions much closer to my own views than any of the others.

Works the other way too with Trump and the Dems blowing smoke and creating some false controversies. But as with him, where theres smoke theres fire.

The lies are just that though. She lied to the American public, this is a fact, its not some Republican talking point or blowing smoke. She lied to our faces to protect herself and to win an election. If she lied about that, I'm sure there is more that she has lied about. She is incredibly untrustworthy.

The attacks by the Republicans forced her hand and made her have to lie, but its still the case, she lied about things that impact the safety and lives of Americans so she could try to get promoted to the highest office in the land.

This is sarcasm, right?

The last Republican President to leave the nation in better economic shape than he found it was Eisenhower.

Reagan tripled (yes, tripled) the national debt (https://mises.org/library/sad-legacy-ronald-reagan-0). His union busting didn't help Americans much either.

The Cheney/Bush administration were asleep at the wheel while we were attacked and then instead of going after Bin Laden, which would have made sense, they started two wars for no good reason which destabilized the Middle East.

We are facing serious issues, yet instead of dealing with them, Republicans periodically shut down the government and in between waste endless energy and time (not to mention millions of dollars) on Congressional hearings that go nowhere. In between they vote against affordable health care for Americans (over 60 votes by last count) and plot against Planned Parenthood.

Tripling the nation debt, gutting the middle class, crashing the economy, pissing nearly everyone in the Middle East... what about any of this is not long-term damage?

Destabilization of the Middle East for a variety of reasons goes back over 100 years and had been actively supported by both parties. Clinto and Obama, and neo-liberals, are just a continuance of this long line of despicable policies.

There only parties and candidates that are speaking out against neo-liberal and neo-con policies are Johnson and Stein.

These accusations against her are regularly debunked by the Pulitzer Prize winning PolitiFact.
She is a sweetheart who made $150 million in speaking fees alone for incarcerating tens of millions of African-Americans, creating a slave class of Hispanic immigrants, destroying the middle class while making the Billionaire Class wealthy beyond imagination, destroying countries and their families all over the world and promoting a gigantic worldwide arms race.

Her supporters seem to be more enamored with words than actions. Other despicable leaders in past history have done likewise.

The tin foil hat crowd assures us Clinton will keel over dead immediately after being inaugurated, in which case you could think of it as the choice is Trump or Kaine! #TeamClintonKaine
